Legal autocorrect for conversations: the rule before you answer

A call has no Send button, and a spoken sentence cannot be corrected once it is heard. So FineShield, your Legal AI Firewall, flags the moment instead: it checks what is said in Zoom, Google Meet and in-person meetings against your contracts, policies and approval limits, and the rule appears on your screen, privately, before you answer. Scope and notice are agreed before any meeting is connected.

A small in-person meeting: a woman talking with two colleagues across a table, an open notebook and a laptop in front of her.

A customer asks for terms you cannot approve

On a renewal call, a customer asks for a price lock and a stronger uptime promise. Before the salesperson answers, FineShield puts the signed terms and the approval limit on their screen. Nobody else on the call sees it.

Spoken words cannot be held

An email draft can wait. A sentence spoken in a meeting has already been heard. FineShield provides guidance during the discussion, talking points before it, and review afterward. The person in the meeting decides what to say.

  1. BeforeTalking points
  2. DuringGuidance
  3. AfterwardReview

Seeing the rule does not let the speaker approve more than they could before.

Zoom

On Zoom the guidance stays with the user

FineShield joins the call as a named participant and posts a notice in the meeting chat. Guidance appears only on the user’s screen. In the film, Lena renews a contract: a price lock goes to Maya for approval, a 99.99% uptime promise is corrected to 99.5%, and a question about another customer’s price is declined.

A woman in a dark jacket at her desk on a video call, four faces on the monitor beside her, a tall window behind her looking over the city at dusk.

Google Meet

Confirm the setup for Google Meet

FineShield covers Google Meet too. Before connecting it, we confirm the meeting setup, how participants are told, where guidance appears, what is captured, and who can see the record.

In person

In person, the user says FineShield is taking notes

Everyone in the room is told that FineShield is taking notes. Guidance appears on the user’s phone. In the film, Dana interviews a candidate. FineShield shows the rule before a question about family plans, and again when he asks for 1.5% equity, above the approved band.

Decide what meeting data is kept

We agree what is captured and checked, who sees the guidance and the records, and how long they are kept. A flagged record holds four things: the excerpt, the source, the decision, and the reason. What else is processed during a meeting is agreed with you before connecting.

Questions

Does a lawyer review every spoken sentence?

No. Live guidance is generated by FineShield. A question that needs legal judgment goes to the lawyer your company names.

Do we still have to tell people FineShield is in the meeting?

Yes. How participants are told is agreed before any meeting is connected. Your company confirms what the law requires for the people and places involved.

Choose the meeting you want to start with
